Vday Craft Night
Decided to go ahead and do my Vday Craft Night as planned. Glad I did, fun night with some of my favorite ladies :)
Made these cute playlists and delicious red velvet cake pops!
I didn't take pictures of the steps...but if you want to make either of these....
Red Velvet Cake Pops: 1. Make red velvet cake (mix is fine) 2. Crumble into pieces and add cream cheese frosting. 3. Form cake mixture into bite sized balls. 4. Chill in freezer for twenty minutes or so (longer is actually better but we were impatient) 5. Insert lollipop sticks. 6. Melt chocolate chips or candy melts. 7. Dip cake pops into chocolate and add sprinkles or whatever topping your lil heart desires. 8. Stick into a styrofoam block to dry. 9. Wrap with treat bags and ribbons. 10. Enjoy! :)
Mix CD cover art: 1. Insert CD (we used Verbatim vinyl cds) into brown paper lunch sack w/o opening bottom flap. 2. Cut about 1.5 inches off the top of the bag. 3. Fold in half so that you can tuck the top half under the flap in the back. 4. decorate the front with whatever you want, I printed out some graphic art and decorated around it. 5. Then tie with rafia or yarn or twine. 6. Give to someone special <3
